Grandkids

Got to the airport and through security early.
Had about a two hour wait...but lots of fun looking at all the people.

Plane had just taken off. Had to convince Cody it was ok to look out the window.

Pool time...all OK now.

Lorie, Ken, Tom and Boo (last two are their cats) spent a couple of nights with us on their way to California. Not sure if Buffy ever knew the cats were in the house...however, Tootsie and Tom did eyeball each other and I don't think they would be best friends!!

Show Low Land Barons!

Our most recent purchase...a rv lot in Show Low. Backs up to state trust land so no one will be behind us except for maybe an occasional cow!
Will be parking the motorhome up there for the summer (elevation 6300 ft). When it's 112 in the desert...we'll be up north where the high may be 85!

Sierra Vista & Bisbee

Spent a few days last week with friends, Kathleen and Dan, exploring Sierra Vista and Bisbee. They drove down in their "studio" and we in our "condo". We stayed at Pueblo del Sol RV Resort which is in Sierra Vista. They are closing their doors May 15 after being sold to a home developer. Kind of sad since it's the only nice park in Sierra Vista (even though we were parked on asphalt!).

Visited a couple of museums at Fort Huachuca. The one on the Buffalo Soldiers was very interesting. I'm sure glad we weren't around in those days. Talk about being in the middle of nowhere!! Also found out at one time Bisbee was the largest town between St. Louis and Los Angeles.

Kathleen was certain we were being invaded by an alien spacecraft. The spacecraft is the military blimp that monitors the US/Mexican border.
